Looking For A Great Cruise Holiday?

I’m going on my first cruise later this year to Mexico, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica with about 7 other people. I tried searching the FAQ but it seems it covers two things, balconies and alcohol. I’m hoping some folks here can explain how things work on a cruise for me. Prepare for a whole lot of dumb. Aside from the restaurants which I understand work just like a normal restaurant, how does food work on the cruise? As in what’s included in the cruise and is there set meal times? or can I just go get food whenever I want?
