Royal Caribbean cruise very nice — except for the people who wouldn't sell us drinks
I’ve been on three cruises before this last one (Venice & Greek Isles), and never before have I run into this. Is it common? We did not buy the alcohol drink package, just the soda/water package. Here’s what happened: Me: “Could I get a Dark & Stormy, please?”hands over Seapass Server: “Your package doesn’t cover alcohol.” tries to hand Seapass back Me: “I know. I will pay for the drink.” Server: “But your package doesn’t cover it.” Me: “I KNOW. I will pay for the drink as billed to my card. I sign for it, right?” Server: finally brings drink
