Tourist Card needed if cruising to D. R.?
All the information online indicates that it is necessary and typically the fee is included in airfare to D.R.; however, this is not applicable since we arrive via cruise ship. I emailed the D.R. Embassy about 2 weeks ago, but they have not responded to my inquiry. Has anyone visited the Dominican Republic recently that know whether or not we need to purchase a “tourist card” in advance or upon arrival? All the guests in my party are either US citizens or from an EU nation, so I know we don’t need to apply for visas. Thanks! submitted by /u/Svenska80
