Buying tickets at port?
Hey guys! New to this community, so if this is a frequent question, feel free to yell at me. I live in NOLA, a big port for cruise ships. I ran into a couple at my job last night and they told me that evrry year they pack their bags, no tickets bought, and buy their ticket directly at the port as the ship is boarding. They said there is always empty rooms and they get them at a discount. I was wondering if there is any validity to this? Is there any advice to someone wanting to try this?
