Anyone feel environmental guilt?
We’ve booked a family cruise for next year and are excited for the trip. I recently started thinking about it and began to wonder if these ships are particularly bad for the environment. From the little I’ve read, they’re not great. We’ll be contributing 2x carbon emissions per person and the controversy around oily bilge water. Also the treated sewage although since that practice is status quo for many municipalities too that doesn’t seem as big a deal to me. I’m not considering cancelling or anything like that just wondering if others have grappled with this at all? submitted by
