Boat approached ship while on water, dropped off someone, and left. Has this ever happened to anyone?
I was recently on the Carnival Conquest leaving Belize. We had probably been out to sea for about 30mins-1hr since leaving port and suddenly a coast guard looking boat approached the ship. I can’t remember what it said exactly, it wasn’t “Police” or the Spanish form of police, but maybe “Portal” or “Pilota”. I was on the lido deck inside so I couldn’t stick my head over to see everything, but the boat approached the ship, drove along side it, someone jumped from the boat to the ship (I assume into the gangway opening) and then the ship drove off.
