Best way to get SMS only while on Princess cruise (no calls, data or wifi)
We are cruising Alaska this summer. I’m looking for a way to allow family to reach us if there is a problem without paying a bunch for the ship’s cellular or the ship wifi. We have a Tmobile postpaid account, which has good roaming. If we connect to the ship’s cellular we get free incoming SMS, $0.50 outgoing SMS, and calls are $5.99 a minute (I think this is how it works?). But I want to be sure we don’t get any random calls – just texts from family. Questions: Am I understanding correctly how T-mobile works on cruises? Is
