Alaska : Cruise vs. Cruise Tour
We are planning a trip this summer to Alaska and would like to do either a cruise (7 days) or a cruise tour (10 days) with Princess. The cost is about $2500 vs. $3900 for an interior room including flights for the latter. I just wanted to see if anyone had experience with the land tour part – is it worth the extra time? Could you see a lot? Is 3 days too short? Did the train travel take up a lot of your time? Was it worth the cost? Let me know if you have any recommendations – thanks!
