Need some recommendations for hotels/AirBNBs and transit to and from FCO and Civitavecchia. First time in Rome.
We are docking out of Civitavecchia for our Mediterranean cruise and flying in to FCO. The day we arrive is the day before the boat leaves and the day we go home is the day after the boat docks. Is it recommended we stay in Civitavecchia the day before the cruise? What is the best means of going from the airport to Civitavecchia? AriBNB vs hotel in Civitavecchia?
