Insurance for New Caledonia?
So I called carnival cruises today about an unrelated enquire and the operator seemed to indicate that New Caledonia doesn’t like people getting off the ship at all without insurance. That is to say this lady seemed to imply I couldn’t visit the port without it. She kind of danced around the subject when I pressed her further. I just want to know if she was trying to mislead me or not as I haven’t ever heard this mentioned before? As for actually purchasing insurance I haven’t yet but I am considering doing so regardless.
